Elite Golf Management’s Founder

Elite Golf Management was founded by Keith Flatt, a man with a strong business background who has refined his knowledge of the golf industry through years of experience.

Keith Flatt, Owner & CEO

Keith’s experience spans every aspect of the golf industry. As a professional player, caddy, credentialed instructor, head golf professional and as a facility owner, he has seen (and done) it all. As an owner, he led the successful turnaround of numerous facilities which offered him the added benefit of experiencing firsthand, the frustrations of trying to work with management companies that were not held accountable for their performance. His unique perspective of seeing the facility through the eyes of both a golfer AND an owner has enabled him to create a first-class golf experience while still keeping a sharp eye on the bottom line.

Keith grew up in Azle, Texas, later moving to Arlington, where he learned to play golf at the age of 12. He fell in love with the game and quickly advanced, becoming one of the top amateur golfers in Texas. After shooting the course record in a local city tournament one day, Keith was approached by a Las Vegas gambler, who asked him to come to Vegas and play in high stakes golf matches. Keith’s golf career took off. He was, after all, playing against some of the best golfers in the world! This story would later become the inspiration for Terry Jastrow’s development of the movie adaptation of Keith’s golf experiences in the 2015 movie, “The Squeeze”.

Following Keith’s days as a player, he became the head golf professional at Los Prados Golf Club in Las Vegas. He would go on to found the Keith Flatt Golf Academy at Silverstone Golf Club, which he eventually relocated to the Callaway Golf Center. Keith has also caddied for PGA Tour professionals Bob May, as well as Scott Piercy. It was during his time caddying for Scott Piercy, that Piercy won two million dollars in the Ultimate Game, held in Las Vegas.

Keith would go on to both own and manage additional golf facilities as well.  These experiences offered him a honed perspective; One that has given him the Vision to establish Elite Golf Management.
